Your Guide to COVID-19 Community Relief

Your guide to COVID-19 community relief is here! We know that there are many people who are in a really tough situation during these times from losing a job, their kids not being in school, being sick, etc. Our hearts go out to those who are struggling, and it’s the reason why we created this guide of local businesses that are giving back to people in need of COVID-19 relief. We are so blessed to have these incredible small business leaders around us that are using their finite resources to help others. They understand as much as we do that it is our duty to come together as a society, and if you have the power, to help one another out! We are using our platform to bridge the gap between our community members who need help and the resources they require by creating this guide on where to find them. Below are our resources of local businesses that are offering meals, supplies, produce, clothes, and more.

Be a Hero, Feed the Hero

The Reynolds Team In Partnership with 29 Diner: Be A Hero, Feed A Hero

We are honored to have partnered with John K. Wood, owner of 29 Diner in Fairfax County on an unbelievable GO SERVE BIG MISSION! For those of you who don’t know, in the last 10 weeks, John has begun a Community First Initiative that is providing meals, groceries, supplies, and clothes to those in need during the COVID-19 Pandemic. He has completely transformed his restaurant into a one-stop-shop COVID-19 Relief Market that is available to those in need 7 days a week from 8 am – 8 pm.

We are overwhelmed with excitement to announce that we have joined forces with John to help in a HUGE mission called Be a Hero, Feed a Hero! Together, we are feeding the ENTIRE staff of Inova Loudoun Hospital on May 13th! That includes doctors, nurses, custodial, security, reception, EVERYONE, to show our gratitude for putting themselves on the front lines treating victims of COVID-19.

“To whom much is given, much is required.” We believe that it is our duty to step up and give back, and we are honored to be apart of this mission with such an incredible leader in our community.

Thank you, John, and everyone that has donated to this cause.

Interviewing Tori Truesdale One of the Founding Members of The Dulles South Coronavirus Outreach

Our Community Correspondent, Scooter Vines gets the inside scoop on Tori Truesdale’s Dulles South Coronavirus Outreach Team!

Before these difficult times, we began an initiative called “Life in Loudoun” that sought to highlight the beautiful places, businesses, homes, and PEOPLE of Northern Virginia. Despite all that’s going on, we still plan on showcasing what makes this area so special, starting with the incredible, Tori Truesdale. Check out our interview with her to see how you can help be apart of her mission.
