Hi and Happy Summertime! Debbie and I wanted to write a letter to our amazing friends, community, and our forever clients to share some things that are on our heart. I just got back from my daughter’s 6 month checkup at Children’s National Hospital, and was so impressed by all the good work I saw that I have to share all about it. I was thinking to myself, I just have to share this story 🙂

My daughter, Olivia (she is 10), visits twice a year to check in & follow up on any changes with her hearing loss condition, “Bilateral Enlarged Vestibular Aqueducts”. She’s not scared of these appointments now but George and I are both still pretty nervous each time we visit! Olivia, with the confident demeanor that she has, insisted on leading the visit this time. She was asking her own questions (so proud! :D), leading the discussion on her health & future. She has become so strong and I tell her ‘you have such strong ears because they do double duty by lifting your glasses and your hearing aids.’ What I saw from her I saw in all the kids there, the doctors and staff build so much confidence in them and that confidence carries them onto face whatever tomorrow brings.

We were waiting there surrounded by so many kids with their own unique battles and journeys, and many with very serious conditions and fighting hard each day for their lives. Each child facing the future with so much positivity, it brought me to tears. It was so humbling & inspiring to see their resilience! Their smiles, despite the challenges they faced, show the incredible care they receive from Children’s National. It is a place full of love, care, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

So why am I telling you this? Our team has been giving back to Children’s National Hospital for many years because of the AMAZING work that they do for our community and as a parent, how much they have put me at ease, knowing that my child is in great hands. I am fortunate enough to have the resources to get my children the best care, but not every parent in our community has the opportunity to do so. I find myself continually thinking about the families in this situation, and have looked for every opportunity to help. This is why we’re so passionate about helping families through real estate, it allows us to support worthy causes like Children’s National. Helping families and fighting for them through the purchase or sale of a home is an incredible responsibility that we don’t take lightly!

Thank you,
Sarah & Debbie Reynolds

If you are thinking about moving, or if someone you know may be, please call or text 202-759-1266 and introduce us to them. Not only will they get the 5-star service that we are known for, but with every introduction you give, we donate a portion of our income to Children’s National Hospital and other worthy causes because of the awesome work they do in our community. We want them to continue being a place filled with laughter, fun, and healing for our local children.
