We hope this message finds you happy and well! As we welcome 2025, we want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Wrapping this incredible year, we can’t help but feel grateful – and the number one reason?
YOU! We’ve had the honor of helping so many families like yours overcome tough negotiations, conquer challenges, and celebrate some truly amazing wins this year. Every moment reminded us why we love what we do! We’re not just buying and selling houses – we’re helping make real estate dreams come true!
Over 650 families trusted us to join them through the home selling and buying process, and your introductions have been a huge part of this! We are truly humbled by the confidence you’ve placed in us to serve those you love. But your introductions don’t just help us, each family you introduce to us gives us the opportunity to return the blessing to our community! Together, we have the greatest honor of supporting causes bigger than ourselves, and the passion it brings to our hearts is a fulfillment like no other! Here are some of our favorite highlights from this year:
- $328,292.01 donated to worthy causes in our community like Children’s National Hospital & Fisher House Foundation.
- $40,400 raised for Fisher House Foundation as our 15 runners tackled the Army 10 Miler.
- $14,524.63 donated so far this year to our local schools to support student events, sports programs & scholarships.
- 500+ Homeless Veterans in our nation’s capital fed this holiday season through Feed A Veteran.
- Delivering hope by having critical supplies delivered to hurricane victims to rebuild after Helene and Milton.
- Named 3 years in a row by Inc. 5000 as one of the fastest growing companies in the US!
One of the most important things to us over the years has been our team’s continued growth and expansion to ensure our clients get extraordinary service. Seeking out talent to add to our already stellar team is a top priority! The extension of many real estate teams can mean a decline in client service, but that is NOT the case with Reynolds EmpowerHome Team. As we often say, “Teams Win!” We’re proud to keep growing while staying focused on delivering exceptional care and results for every client.
In 2024, Debbie and Steve celebrated 45 years of marriage on December 15th. To celebrate a bit early, they had an amazing trip to Italy in September, where they visited Tuscany, Viareggio, Pisa, Florence, and Rome! They had a day excursion on the Ligurian Sea to the 5 villages of Cinque Terre. While in Tuscany, they had a culinary experience with a chef in his home and an Italian cooking class. It was definitely a memorable trip and they are looking forward to many more years together.
The nine grandchildren bring Debbie and Steve so much love and they enjoy seeing them grow and watch their personalities develop. Isaiah (4) is full of energy and very sweet, Cole (4) full of joy, walks around singing, Lincoln (5) is full of fun and loves to make us laugh, Caleb (6) loves to be with family and especially Grandpapa, Elijah (7) loves cars and especially the cyber truck, Kaitlyn (9) likes to make riddles and jokes, swimming, and is showing an interest in singing, Camden (9) is our little inventor, loves writing and reading books, is the life of the party and full of questions, Salima (9) is very creative, loves arts, crafts, singing and sewing and especially loves chickens, Olivia (11) loves hanging out with Grandmama, reading, and also is quite the artist and writing stories and comics. Spending time together with everyone is the highlight of our year and we are having amazing conversations as they are getting older and thinking about the things of life more.
Debbie’s father-in-law, Alfred, passed away on his 93rd birthday. The family cherished a wonderful visit with him on Father’s Day, surrounding him with love and taking him for ice cream at a local Creamery about a month and a half before he passed. Alfred was a hard worker who deeply loved his family and his darling Betsy. They are now together again and are both missed dearly, especially during family gatherings.
This year has been extraordinary for the Oji family, filled with reflection, gratitude, and cherished memories. Sarah is in awe of the life she and George have built. He remains her rock, partner, and greatest encourager, balancing his roles as a loving husband, present father, and inspiring leader. His positivity and spiritual guidance ground their family.
Olivia, now a 6th grader, amazes them daily. Excelling academically, she was chosen to represent her school, sharing how her teachers inspired her love for reading and her dream of becoming an author. She continues to thrive in volleyball, attending clinics, and getting ready for the upcoming season! Kaitlyn, their 9-year-old firecracker, teaches them to savor the little moments and embrace curiosity. Her big heart, love for crafts, and infectious silliness light up their lives. She is the best big sister, daughter, and cousin anyone could ask for, with a heart so full of love for everyone around her. Lincoln turned five this year! From T-ball seasons to swim school graduation and K-4 adventures, he fills their days with joy, whether it’s sneaking cuddles, swimming, or devouring tacos. The Oji family treasures these moments of love and growth and looks forward to making even more memories in 2025.
