This past weekend, Reynolds EmpowerHome Team in Hampton Roads had the incredible honor of joining the Army Ten-Miler to raise funds for the Fisher House Foundation. Thousands of runners filled the streets with one shared purpose, to support our veterans and active-duty military. Every year, this race reminds us why it’s so special, bringing together people united by gratitude and a deep respect for those who serve our country.

The weather could not have been more perfect. A cool autumn breeze and clear skies set the stage for a day filled with energy, teamwork, and heart. Along the route, the sight of recruits and service members cheering the runners on was a powerful reminder of who we were running for and the daily sacrifices our military families make.

It’s impossible not to be inspired by Fisher House’s mission and growth, recently celebrating the opening of its 100th home. Their belief that “family is the best medicine” perfectly captures what they stand for—keeping loved ones close during some of life’s hardest moments.
