Every month, The Reynolds Team gives $1,000 to an outstanding individual or family as apart of our $1K Impact Giveaway. Deserving people are nominated by their friends, family, and/or community because they have made a positive impact on those around them, and/or is in need of some support.

This month, Katheren nominated her parents for our $1K Impact Giveaway. Her father Ben has been an exceptionally hard worker all his life—even when he was partially immobile from past surgeries, he still pushed forward to provide for his family and continued to be a phenomenal employee. Recently, he had a full knee replacement but is still walking with the help of a walker—he even has a FOURTH back surgery scheduled for the end of the month. With all the operations that he has had to endure, he hasn’t been able to work since last summer and, unfortunately, hasn’t had any income in over four months. His wife, Jackie who has seen his resilience and positive attitude throughout these hardships has been his rock through their time of hardship. Her strong faith has given her strength to persevere and support her husband.

As an outstanding member of his community, we wanted to give back to show appreciation for all his hard work, and to help out with his expenses while he waits to hear back from disability.
