In 2021, we partnered with Love Gives Adoption to help Whitney, a remarkable teacher with an enormous heart, in her journey to adopt Nico, a special needs child from South America. As Whitney shared some of the obstacles she faced during the adoption process, our entire EmpowerHome family knew we had to help! With adoption being so close to our Team’s heart, we were 100% committed to bringing Nico home. With the help of our team and community, we raised $27,555 to support Whitney with some of the financial burdens of the adoption process.

Fast forward to June 2023, we had the honor of meeting Whitney AND Nico at our office. As they walked through our doors, our hearts were filled with joy and our eyes with tears. Nico had already finished kindergarten and had begun learning to walk without braces!
