This year, The Reynolds Team is proud to sponsor The Logan Phoenix Golf Open, held at South Riding Golf Course in Chantilly, Virginia, for the second year in a row. Mary and James Stone have been putting on this event for the last seven years, dedicating it to their son Logan who passed away after only a few months of life. All the proceeds of this event go to the Children’s National Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals at Children’s National.
Logan Stone was born on August 17th, 2012, with a type of brain tumor called a Congenital Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM). He passed away from related causes on October 25th, 2012. Logan’s surgeon and oncologist were from Children’s National Hospital in DC, and their care and genuine compassion served as a critical support system for the Stone family while treating Logan’s terminal condition.
The proceeds from this event will go toward treating children in the CMN network who have terminal illnesses—from routine doctor checkups to the purchase of preemie diapers, etc.
